Particulate Matter (PM) measurements in Ambient Air are the primary indicators of air quality and a pivotal tool in Smart City air quality management. Reference instruments combined with the TERA Sensor next generation sensors NextPM, NextPM Advanced and PMSCAN provide real-time measurements of Particulate Matter for PM10, PM2.5 and PM1 that translate complex Air Quality data into accessible, actionable insights for city planning, traffic management and policy planning by central and local government authorities. These Sensors enable dynamic mapping of pollution hotspots, trend analysis over time and predictive modelling, facilitating mitigation actions and supporting evidence-based policy interventions.
